Jamie first experienced shadow interpreted theater in 2002 performed by Dan McDougall and Shelly Tocco in Singin’ In The Rain. Completely impressed, she saw every shadowed show possible and finally in August 2006 was invited to audition, and joined TerpTheatre. She has enjoyed working with the TerpTheatre team, as well as the cast, crew, and directors of all the shows she’s been lucky enough to perform.
With more than 25 shows under her belt in just a few seasons, Jamie looks forward to a life-long relationship with TerpTheatre! A proud alumni of the Sign Language Studies program (receiving her B.A. in 2004) at Madonna University, Jamie is now a nationally certified interpreter (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf - NIC) and continues to interpret for the university. She also works in a variety of other settings as a freelance interpreter for local organizations, including University of Michigan Hospital.
