Rehearsals Begin for ‘Lockerbie’

October 14, 2011 in Rehearsals & Technique

Before 9/11, there was Lockerbie.

Oakland University’s first interpreted show of the season (there will be three this year) is ‘The Women of Lockerbie.’  This moving play is based on the true story of the aftermath of the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988.  The untold story of what happened on the ground after the plan crash is unforgettable.

OU’s amazing theatre department has begun rehearsals on the show, and TerpTheatre joined for our first rehearsal this week.  We plan to update you throughout the rehearsal process, with blogs about costumes, the set (real grass!), the rehearsal process and more.  Look for more in the weeks ahead!
